Tweet O' the Day: Burrows Appreciates the Classics

In 1995 Adam Sandler's young career skyrocketed when he starred in what has become one of his signature films, Billy Madison. Redshirt Freshman inside linebacker Brandon Burrows, who was three when Billy Madison was released, apparently can appreciate the early and much funnier years of Sandler's career.

That would be a quote from the Knibb High principal, played by James Downey, as he lays out the rules for the final event in the academic decathlon between Madison and Eric Gordon. What most people do not know is that Downey is an Emmy winning writer, who has been with Saturday Night Live since 1977. Oh and I can't write about Billy Madison without mentioning the vivacious Veronica Vaughn, "So hot want to touch the hiney". Anyway, glad to see the guy enjoying a comic classic. I'll leave you with one more quote from Downey's character.

Ok one more scene!

May God forgive Sandler for making Grown Ups, Don't Mess With the Zohan, and I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry.

  1. Have you seen the ads for his next movie, with Sandler as himself and his sister? I get the feeling Hollywood doesn't even try anymore.
