Bet the Farm Friday (October 14)

(Note: Bet the Farm Friday or (BTFF) will run every Friday with the implied assumption that a) H2H doesn't encourage gambling, b) we only encourage sports betting where legal, AND c) there are a lot of online sportsbooks available that are ambiguous on the legality so it should be okay...wait, did I say that out loud...nevermind....moving on....)

After a 2-1 week, let's try and get the first undefeated week of the year (home team in CAPS):

Michigan at MICHIGAN STATE (-2)
Ah yes...everyone wants to sip the Denard Robinson champagne...again. Remember last year at this time, Robinson was a mortal "lock" to win the Heisman. But once Michigan started playing decent opponents, his stock dwindled. Last season, Michigan started out 5-0...until they lost to Michigan State at home 34-17. Michigan State pretty much returns their entire team, and their only loss came to Notre Dame, where they had some flukey plays go against them (and out-gained ND by 75 yards). MSU is also coming off a bye-week and should be more than prepared for their in-state rival at home. I predict the undefeated season comes to an end for the Wolverines. Dawgola's Pick: Michigan State (-2)

Florida at AUBURN (+2)
This is pretty much a bet against Florida, as they have to prove they can move the ball without Brantley in the lineup. Also, UF has struggled against Auburn in recent history, and has not won at Auburn since 1999. Florida's defense has shown vulnerability the past two games and I expect a raucous crowd at Jordan-Hare for a big night game. Dawgola's Pick: Auburn (+2)

Baylor (+9.5) at TEXAS A&M
Yes, Van Dawgin will be very proud of this pick. We have RG3 getting over a touchdown against an opponent that gives up points. The only team A&M has beaten by over a touchdown this season is SMU and Idaho. They can't keep leads to save their lives and RG3 has a Heisman campaign to maintain. The over/under on this game is 75, so it should at least be entertaining. Dawgola's Pick: Baylor (+9.5)
