Crowell Carries for 127 Yards and 2 TDs!

Due to Isaiah Crowell's early success against South Carolina and Ole Miss, Saturday is shaping up as a match up of two of the best backs in the SEC. Mississippi State's running back Vick Ballard is very good and has the talent to punish opposing defenses. Georgia's freshman sensation Crowell is well on his way to superstardom and Saturday should provide the young ball carrier with another chance to shine.

The Bizzaro Bulldogs from Starkville have already surrendered two 100 yard rushing performances this season and are giving up an average of 191.5 on the ground in two conference games, both of which were Bulldog losses.

That should bode well for Crowell who has shown marked improvement through his first four collegiate contests and despite last week's second half conditioning issues, should be able to carry the ball around 25 times against the Burgundy Dogs. Crowell compares favorably to Auburn sophomore Michael Dyer, who earlier this season, rushed for 150 yards and 2 touchdowns on 18 carriers against Miss. State.

State will stack the box Saturday in an attempt to slow Crowell and quarterback Aaron Murray will need to connect on some early downfield throws to keep the Bizzaro Dog defense honest, which will open up running lanes for the shifty freshman. UGA should have success doing both and will score at will. My prediction for Crowell: 127 yards and 2 touchdowns, plus a few catches to go along. It’ll be a red-letter day for the good guys as Georgia wins at home and Dan Mullen’s pups fall to 2-3.

These are a few of Crowell's highlights against SC.
