Tweet O' The Day: Tavarres Knows What Championships Are Made Of

Tavarres is a good kid. He's developed a little showboat in his time in Athens, but I like a little confidence in one's game. Along with the confidence has come some leadership, which has kind of been forced on him, but he's nonetheless taken the ball and run with it (pun intended). After someone like AJ Green leaves, teams scramble to find someone that will fill the void and I think TK has shouldered the load to the best of his ability. He's been vocal at the least, anyway.

So what's his mentality on what it takes to win big? Well, it might be a good idea to get some ideas from a mason cause you're gonna be laying some mortar...

Is this Twitter sutff is good for the team or if they're just throwing out random "We're putting in work - we want to be the best we can this year," type tweets. You judge for yourself, BUT...

I'm not buying that. If you're motivated enough to tell someone that you're busting your hump, you're probably doing it. A lazy, uninspired person would just play Xbox all the time. A lazy, uninspired crowd of folks tweeting stuff like this seems even less likely.

I don't want to inspire confidence here, or trick myself into a false sense of "we're working harder this year than ever", but I can't help but sense it just a little. Sometimes it's hard to discern talk amongst all the fuzz, but there sure seems to be a lot of concurring views with this bunch.

I continue to be CAUTIOUSLY inspired, I just hope it doesn't bite me in the ass again. I'm a sucker round this time of year.

  1. The word is that Coach T is hurting people by working them harder and longer than anyone has. Hopefully everyone's backs will be back in action 31 days from today. The team is inspired and knows they have a lot to prove. Its led by Christian Robinson, Aaron Murry, Ty Frix, Arthur Lynch, Richard Samuel, Tavarres King, and a tight knit group of leaders that I don't think we had on this team before. They are the real deal. We are the real deal. Believe and show up early to the games. We must do our part as well even if it means not drinking 5 more beers right before kickoff.
