College Gameday Crew Pick SEC Winners (Looky!)

I somewhat liked the College Gameday crew's picks for the SEC Championship. I say somewhat because the EVENTUAL winner isn't the Dawgs, but it looks like the pups please the crew enough to warrant at least some props. According to Mike Humes of ESPN, here are Corso, Herbstreit, and Desmond's picks...

A couple of these picks look horrendous to me - those not including Georgia and Alabama, mostly. LSU could be playing with about 5 starters, which sure wouldn't make me feel good were I "The Hat" and Steve's team is liable to fold like a house of cards, as they've been tabbed as such a preseason powerhouse.

Invariably those guys will be 7-2 at some point this season and one or two of those wins will be against a pretty good team and one or two of those losses will be against terrible teams. Then, they'll end up 8-5 or 7-6, as they seemingly do every year despite their billed talent. If you can't tell already, I'm really, really not a fan of insane Carolina fans.

All of this hinges on Game 1 and 2. Game one means nothing in the grand scheme of things for the Dawgs, but you pretty much have to win out to have a chance redeeming yourself for a National Title chance. That one is all about R.E.S.P.E.C.T.

Game 2 is a must, as I don't want it to be out of the Dawgs' control and in the hands of a bunch of Cocks. Wait a minute, that didn't sound PG-13...
