H2H's Special 500th Post Post

Dawgola and I would like to send our condolences to the time all of you have wasted reading our endless drivel about college sports and other various topics. We really appreciate that each of you have chosen to spend, on average, 1 minute and 26 seconds of your day on From Hedges to Hardwood. Just think, that's enough time to hear Craig James say "high-motor guy" approximately 73 times and Dickie V say "Awesome BAABBEEEEEE!!!!!" twice. He really likes to stretch out those E's.

In all seriousness, we really appreciate that each of you spend a little time with us every day. We've been around about seven and a half months now and we're looking forward to what the future brings. Starting this blog with really no clue of how to keep the commentary fresh and insightful looked like an inviting challenge to Dawgola and me. Hopefully things can continue to improve and our childish sense of humor won't run everyone off.

We always appreciate and welcome any of your thoughts and comments. If we can improve things in any way or you have ideas, let us know. We'll continue to roll out new featurettes like "Tales From the Tailgate" and our "Friday Night Bites" to keep ya'll from seeing too much black type and cheesy Microsoft Paint drawn pictures and some occasional photoshop "brilliance" from yours truly.

Again, thanks for reading our stuff and we hope you enjoy it. Maybe at some point we'll have staff writers and hot chicks interviewing players and coaches instead of Dawgola and me interviewing Nerds at the Tech game, catching some recruits on film, or going on McRib runs at lunch one day.

I'm sure that would shoot up that 1:26 per visit.

M. Van Dawgin

***If it's your pleasure, let us know how we're doing in the comments. We'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks again.  Really, let us know what you think or what you'd like to see more of. That's isn't a suggestion... I have Google Analytics and I can pretty much tell where you are RIGHT NOW. But seriously...
