Dawgs Crack the AP Top 25

For the first time since the final poll of the 2001-2002 season, the Hoop Dawgs have made their way into the top 25, coming in at the 24th spot. The Dawgs received 37 votes in the USA Today Coaches Poll as well, which I guess would technically make us 29th.

It certainly helps us that the teams we lost to, Notre Dame and Temple, are highly ranked at #9 and #19 respectively. I was definitely surprised that Notre Dame is ranked that high, but I didn't know they had beaten  Gonzaga, Georgetown, and Connecticut at home. Temple also has a very quality win over Georgetown. While I've certainly beaten this team up some early, we are a much better team than we were in the first 6 or 8 games.

Hell of a job Coach Fox. Oh yeah, by the way, we're first in the SEC East.
