Iowa's Top Wideout Injures His Nose, And No, That Isn't Baby Powder

All-Big 10 wide receiver and also Iowa's all-time receiving leader, Derrell Johnson-Koulianos was arrested on Tuesday because of a police raid at his residence stemming from an investigation of his roommate. This isn't the first time we've heard of Johnson-Koulianos, as he is a leading candidate for this year's inaugural "Hyphman" award (Get the gist?). I'm sure this incident, coupled with his outstanding receiving skills will propel him to the top of the list with the Hyphman voters.

At any rate, the charges levied on J-K are pretty serious. They include operating a drug house, possession of controlled substance, and unlawful possession of a prescription drug. If you want to read the full rundown of what happened, check it HERE. The maximum penatlty that these can net are about 8 years- 1 year for each of the serious misdemeanor possession charges and 2 years for the drug house charge.

Needless to say, I don't think that Derrell is getting his life after school off to a sparkling start.
